Contributors
Engagement in the Morpheus community has been robust, with extensive discussions around MRC 36, which focuses on rewarding long-term committed contributors.
Implementation of MOR rewards staking to gain for all contributor types, as per MRC 42, aims to foster a more committed and engaged contributor base, ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of the Morpheus ecosystem.
Capital
Six protocol-owned liquidity generation events concluded, resulting in the use of 525 stETH for liquidity. A key highlight was the last event utilizing 75% of stETH yield for market MOR buy, reflecting changes implemented through MRC 43.
Furthermore, stETH staking on Morpheus hit an all-time high of 150,403 stETH on May 30th, showcasing strong community participation and trust in the protocol.

Code
The adoption of the MOR weight time proposal (MRC 37) was integrated into Snapshot 6. This proposal ensures that when all weight budgets are depleted, new code will be rewarded by reallocating weights from legacy and orphaned code. This approach incentivizes developers who align early with the project without the promise of immediate reward, fostering a healthier open-source environment. Developers will have clarity on how long their contributions will be valued, promoting sustained engagement.
