Major milestone! Release Candidate Version 3 has officially passed all checks, setting the stage for the mainnet launch of Morpheus Compute on November 18th, 2024. The countdown is on, and the anticipation is palpable!

Capital Providers

The Referral Contract is now live on the Sepolia Testnet! This program encourages community involvement and rewards growth across the Morpheus ecosystem. A security audit is underway to ensure everything is rock-solid before the mainnet launch. Community members can earn up to 5% in referral rewards based on stETH deposits from their referrals. And new opportunities for MOR token holders! Community members have launched a wETH/MOR Aerodrome Pool on Base. With over 80% of trading volume, Aerodrome is the most used DEX on Base. Check out the Aerodrome Pool and learn to bridge MOR to Base with Luke Stokes’ video tutorial.

MOR Token

A significant milestone for the MOR token as it becomes part of the LayerZero ecosystem! With Stargate Finance, you can now seamlessly bridge MOR between Arbitrum, Base, and Ethereum.

More accessibility buying MOR via Coinbase Wallet on Base is now easier than ever! Simply search "Morpheus" on Coinbase, follow the instructions to Coinbase Wallet, and swap.

MRCs

MRC #48: Compute Lending Protocol

With rising demand for compute, MRC #48 introduces a marketplace for lending and borrowing MOR tokens, enabling secure, community-determined access to compute. Developers can borrow MOR for compute, paying a fee to lenders, while MOR holders can lend tokens, earning rewards and fees.

MRC #50: Morpheus Builders Accelerator

The Morpheus Builders Accelerator is on the horizon, designed to support open-source innovation by providing access to Code, Capital, Compute, and Community. Builders focused on Smart Agents are invited to apply via the Accelerator Page.

Morpheus community, alongside 6079.ai, Wire.Network, and The Manifest Network, hosted insightful discussion on Permissionless III DeAI outcomes.Check out the Venice AI blog article, "What is the Difference Between Centralized and Decentralized AI" which explores decentralized AI as a powerful alternative to centralized models dominated by major corporations.

In a recent X Space hosted by Moby Media, Morpheus MRI maintainers David Johnston and Ryan Condron joined an audience of over 130,000 to explore the transformative potential of decentralized AI. Originally scheduled for just an hour, the session extended to an hour and a half due to high listener engagement and an overwhelming number of questions from the audience.
